Cross Country (Senior): Placed 11th at the Summit League Championships on Oct. 29 to earn second-team All-Summit League honors … NDSU’s No. 2 finisher at every meet but one for the season … Season-best 6k time of 21:48.9 at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 11, taking 92nd place … Season-best 5k time of 17:53.5 for 2nd place at the UND Ron Pynn Classic on Oct. 15.
Indoor (Senior): Summit League champion in the mile, clocking a personal-best 4:53.94 to win the title … Also ran the leadoff 1200m leg on NDSU’s conference champion distance medley relay team … Ran a personal-best 2:12.14 in the prelims of the 800m at the conference meet and placed 8th in the final … Ended her indoor career ranked 7th all-time at NDSU in the 3000m and 8th all-time in the mile.
Outdoor (Senior): NCAA Championships qualifier in the 3000m steeplechase, earning honorable mention All-America status with a 20th-place finish … Won her first Summit League championships in both the 3000m steeplechase and 1500m … Personal-best 10:10.14 in the steeplechase at the Mt. SAC Relays, ranking her 3rd-fastest in school history behind first-team All-Americans Erin Teschuk and Maddie Van Beek … Ran 4:26.89 in the 1500m to win the Summit League title, set a Schlanser Track record, and rank 4th all-time at NDSU in the event … Posted the 6th-fastest steeplechase time at the NCAA West Prelims in 10:13.00.
2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country (Junior): Among NDSU’s top 3 finishers at all six meets for the season … Placed 7th at the Summit League Championships on Oct. 31 to earn first-team All-Summit League honors … Individual runner-up at the UND Ron Pynn Classic on Oct. 17 in a season-best 5k time of 17:48.3 … Clocked a season-best 6k time of 21:54.1 at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 13 for 79th place … NDSU’s top runner at the season-opening Bison Open on Sept. 4, taking 3rd overall … Four top-10 finishes on the year.
Indoor (Junior): Placed 3rd in the mile and 6th in the 3,000m at the Summit League Indoor Championships … Clocked 9:48.75 in the 3,000m at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 12 to rank 7th in NDSU history in the event … Ran the leadoff 1200m leg on NDSU’s distance medley relay team that ranked 19th in the NCAA for the season, running 11:15.89 at the Armory Track Invitational … Distance medley time ranked 2nd in NDSU history … Season-best mile time of 4:58.21 at the conference meet.

Cross Country (Sophomore): NDSU’s No. 2 finisher at the final four meets of the season … Placed 10th for second-team All-Summit League honors at the Summit League Championships in Fargo on Nov. 1 … Season-best 5k time of 18:05.5 at the UND Ron Pynn Invitational on Oct. 18, finishing fourth overall … Season-best 6k time of 21:48.6 at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 14 … No. 2 finisher for the Bison behind Erin Teschuk at the conference and regional meets.
Indoor (Sophomore): Placed 8th in the 5,000m and 9th in the 3,000m at the Summit League Indoor Championships in Fargo … Ran a season-best 17:31.68 in the 5,000m at the conference meet, ranking her 8th all-time at NDSU … Clocked a 3,000m season-best of 9:54.92 at the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 14 … Also ran 5:03.79 in the mile at the Jack Johnson Classic on Jan. 31.
Outdoor (Sophomore): All-Summit League performer in the 3,000m steeplechase, placing 3rd at the Summit League Championships in Macomb, Ill. … Capped a Bison sweep of the top three places in the steeplechase at the conference meet with Erin Teschuk and Maddie Van Beek … Also placed 7th in the 5,000m at the Summit League Championships … Season-best 3,000m steeplechase time of 10:39.11 at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Apr. 17, ending the season ranked 5th in school history in the event … Season-best 5,000m time of 17:04.79 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on Apr. 3, finishing the year at No. 7 on the NDSU all-time list … Steeplechase champion at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on May 1.
2013-14 SEASON
Cross Country (Freshman): Among the top seven finishers for the Summit League champion Bison at five of the six meets on the year ... No. 5 finisher for NDSU at the NCAA Midwest Regional (6k) on Nov. 15 ... Also the No. 5 finisher for the Bison at the season-opening Bison Open (4k) on Aug. 30 ... Placed 41st in the 6k at the Summit League Championships on Nov. 2 ... Season-best 5k time of 20:04.0 at the UND Ron Pynn Invitational on Oct. 19 ... Season-best 6k time of 23:43.9 at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
Indoor (Freshman): Summit League champion in the distance medley relay ... Ran the leadoff 1200m leg on the winning team of Amy Andrushko, Jenny Guibert and Erin Teschuk ... Placed 12th at the league meet in the mile in a season-best time of 5:11.87 ... Also ran 2:20.84 in the 800m.
Outdoor (Freshman): Placed fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Summit League Outdoor Championships, finishing in a season-best 11:05.64 ... Also finished 10th in the 1500m at the league meet in 4:48.67 ... Ended the year ranked seventh in NDSU history in the 3,000m steeplechase ... 1500m season best of 4:46.98 at the Lyle Hokanson Classic on Apr. 11.
HIGH SCHOOL: Janssen was a three-time Minnesota Class AA all-state performer in cross country, finishing in the top 20 at the state meet in each of her first three seasons. On the track, she has run 11:06.88 in the 3200m. She anchored Moorhead HS to a seventh-place finish in the 4x800m relay at the 2012 Minnesota state meet and was eighth in the 1600m as a sophomore in 2011. As a senior in 2013, she anchored the Moorhead 4x800m relay to a third-place finish at the state championships.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kurt and Kristi Janssen … Has one younger sister, Jayda … Majoring in elementary education.
