The 2004 Season (Freshman): Started all 33 matches and played in 117 of 118 games as a true freshman in NDSU’s 5-1 system...Named Division I independent Setter of the Week once (11-9) and Newcomer of the Week twice (10-12 and 10-26)...Jumped to eighth on the NDSU career kill assists chart with 1,269 in her rookie campaign...Averaged 10.85 assists and 2.32 digs per game...Recorded 12 double-doubles with 10 or more assists and digs...Had 59 assists in matches at Northern Colorado (11-12) and home vs. Minnesota State-Moorhead (9-29), and tallied 58 in the win over Robert Morris (9-24)...Had five kills three times...Scored a career high eight points in the 3-2 loss to Northern Colorado (11-12) with five kills, one ace and four total blocks...Defensively, finished third on the team in digs with 271 and had a hand in 48 blocks, including three solos.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Hempstead High...An All-America prep player who played setter, libero, right side and middle hitter...Iowa 4A all-state first team...Iowa Elite all-state first team...Iowa 4A all-state tournament team...2003 Mississippi Valley Conference player of the year...Named to the all-state second team as a junior...Three-time all-conference, all-area and all-district selection...Was the driving force for the Court Masters Starz J.O. club team since 1998...Member of several first place and runner-up Iowa J.O. Gold Regional tournament teams...Competed at national tourneys held in Atlanta and Louisville...Also lettered in soccer, track and field, and basketball.

Personal: Daughter of William and Linda Luensmann...Has one sister, Abby, who played soccer at Northern Iowa...Undecided on a college major...Most prized possession is her banjo...Favorite hobbies include pottery and singing...High school volleyball coach was Julie Kieffer.
