HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2012 from Oldham-Ramona High School in Ramona, S.D...Four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for the Raiders...Three-time all-conference award winner and team offensive MVP...Set school records for total blocks with 101 her junior year and kills with 250 her senior year...Competed on two state champion track and field teams in 2010 and 2011 with a runner-up finish in 2012...Part of the Class B state record-setting 400-meter relay team...Also set the school rebounding record in basketball...Member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bill and Mary Jo Thurow of Ramona, S.D...Has three older sisters, Billie, Bonnie and Marli, and a younger brother, Josh...Majoring in nursing...Would like to work in a children's hospital.
