The 2004 Season (Sophomore): Selected to the Division I All-Independent team and the Independent All-Academic Team...Named to the independent all-tournament team and was all-tourney at UMKC...Ranked eighth in digs among the eight independent schools with 3.51 digs per game...Led the team in kills 24 times and digs nine times while starting all 33 matches...Recorded 15 double-doubles and had career highs of 26 kills against Minnesota State-Moorhead (9-29) and 28 digs at Northern Colorado (11-12)...Reached double digits in kills in 23 of 33 matches and had 20 or more kills in three contests...Totaled five blocks in matches vs. Arkansas State (9-18), IPFW (10-22) and Prairie View A&M (11-5).
The 2003 Season (Freshman): Not a typical freshman year as Sheila had a sudden impact on the Bison program...Named the AVCA North Central Region Freshman of the Year...Started in 32 matches and 115 games...Hit .150 (270k-146e-827att)...Averaged 2.35 kills and 3.23 digs per game...Third on the team in digs...Added 41 service aces, 40 blocks and 25 assists...Second on the team in service aces...In the final NCC stats, tied for fifth in service aces (0.35 sapg)...Connected for a season-high 18 kills vs. Concordia-St. Paul (11-14) in last year's final regular season match, one of 10 matches with double-figure kills...Finished with 17 digs to complete one of seven "daily doubles" last season...Also collected a career-high 20 points against Concordia...Came up with double-figure digs on 20 occasions...Had three matches with 20-plus digs including a season-best 26 vs. Minnesota State-Mankato (10-25)...Had 24 vs. Augustana (11-7) and 21 vs. Concordia-St. Paul (11-22) in the NCAA North Central Region championship match...Served up four aces in win over Minnesota State-Moorhead (10-16).

Personal: Daughter of Ronald and Marlys Parrish...
