2008 Season (Junior): Started 15 of 28 matches and played in all 101 sets in NDSU’s 6-2 offense...Led the team in assists (708) and assists per set (7.01)...Ranked eighth in the Summit League stats with 6.67 assists per set...Notched her only double-double of the season in the home win over South Dakota State with 36 assists and 12 digs...Made a season-high 58 assists in the season opener against UC Riverside...Named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
2007 Season (Sophomore): Summit League Setter of the Year...Started all 28 matches and played all 106 sets...Ranked 15th on the league’s single-season record list with 1,354 assists...Her 12.77 assists per set ranked second in league and school history, and 28th in the nation...Averaged 13.51 assists per set in league matches...Set a school three-set record with 57 assists in the home win over Oral Roberts...Dished out a season-high 70 assists in a 3-2 loss at South Dakota State...Had 14 double-doubles...Credited with a career-high 11 kills in 12 attempts for a .917 attacking percentage at Robert Morris...All-tournament at Illinois-Chicago...Named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
2006 Season (Freshman): Played in every game as a true freshman, directing the Bison to a .227 team hitting percentage and a 17-13 record...Named the Division I independent Newcomer of the Year and made the all-independent second team by a vote of head coaches and sports information directors...Captured five Newcomer of the Week awards and was Setter of the Week three times...Set NDSU’s five-game record and overall record for assists in a match with 82 in a loss to IPFW on Nov. 10...Jumped into the school’s career assists chart at No. 8 with 1,426 assists in the season...Led the Division I independents with 12.29 assists per game and was a steady defensive helper with 2.07 digs and 0.60 blocks per game.
High School: Graduated in 2006 from Lakeville North High School and played volleyball for coach Milan Mader...Class 3A all-state selection her senior year as Lakeville North placed third in the Minnesota state tournament...Named all-conference and all-metro in 2005 and earned the United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete award...Part of three section championship teams, including state tournament runner-up finishes in 2003 and 2004...Was a member of the Mizuno M1’s volleyball club.
Personal: Daughter of Milo and Jennifer Johnson of Lakeville, Minn...Family includes a brother, Peter, and a sister, Leah, a freshman on the NDSU volleyball team...Majoring in exercise science with a minor in psychology...Plans to attend graduate school for occupational therapy.
