CORAL GABLES, Fla. - North Dakota State sophomore Holly Christian scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Florida Atlantic in soccer Friday, Sept. 10. The Bison improve to 3-0-2 this season and Florida Atlantic falls to 0-5-0. This is only the third time in program history NDSU has started the season unbeaten in five games.

The Bison battled back and junior Morgan DeMike tied the game four minutes later off an assist from senior Candice D'Arcangeli.
Christian tallied the game-winner in the 68th minute, putting in a corner kick from junior Abbey Stratton. It was Christian's team-leading third goal of the season and first career game-winning goal.
The defense came up big in preserving the win, blocking two shots from Shugg.
