Box Score SAN FRANCISCO - Mike Felt scored a game-high 17 points to lead the North Dakota State men's basketball team to its third straight victory 70-58 over Northern Arizona on Sunday, Nov. 13, in the fifth game of the Hilltop Challenge at War Memorial Gym.
TrayVonn Wright added 13 points, six rebounds and three blocks for North Dakota State (3-0), which is off to its best start since winning seven straight to start the 2000-01 season under Greg McDermott.
Danny Cheeck had 10 points off the bench and Durrell Norman added nine points and a team-high six rebounds for Northern Arizona, which dropped to 0-3.
North Dakota State shot 75 percent in the first half (15-for-20) to open up a 43-22 lead at intermission. The Bison led by as many as 25 points early in the second half.
NDSU made nine of its first 10 field goals en route to a 21-10 lead less than six minutes into the game, and it was double digits the rest of the way.
Marshall Bjorklund scored 11 points, Jordan Aaberg snared a game-high seven rebounds off the bench to help NDSU to a 32-26 advantage in total rebounds, and both players had two of NDSU's eight blocked shots.
North Dakota State is scheduled to host Green Bay at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Bison Sports Arena and live on Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin. Green Bay is 1-1 after an 84-66 loss at Duquesne on Sunday.
