
Dartmouth Blanks NDSU Baseball, 6-0

AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Dartmouth senior left-hander Michael Johnson registered 12 strikeouts in seven shutout innings to lift the Big Green to a 6-0 victory over the North Dakota State baseball team on Monday afternoon at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
The Bison concluded their eight-game Florida road trip with a 4-4 record. NDSU is now 8-9 on the season.
Dartmouth (7-0) tallied all six runs on three doubles, two singles and two NDSU errors in the bottom of the third inning.
Bison starter Trevor Jaunich fell to 1-1 on the season. Freshman Adam Lambrecht pitched 2 2/3 innings of relief, allowing just one hit and two walks.
NDSU third baseman John Skrbec went 2-for-2 with two singles and a walk in the game.
NDSU will play Northern State in a doubleheader at the Metrodome in Minneapolis on Saturday, Mar. 23.
