Abbi Aspengren led the North Dakota State University women's cross country team at the SDSU Classic on Saturday, Oct. 4, placing 14th overall in 18:38.41 for the five-kilometer course. The Bison women ran with a partial squad, taking fifth place as a team at Edgebrook Golf Course.

Taylor Janssen was the No. 2 finisher for NDSU, placing 24th in a personal-best 19:04.26. Track & field All-American
Paige Stratioti also ran a personal-best 5k time, taking 34th place in 19:21.14. NDSU redshirt freshman
Jenny Guibert was 59th in 20:13.92, and
Darian Winslow was the No. 5 finisher in 20:25.75 for 64th place.

Minnesota won the women's team title with 19 points.
