Bison Men Wrap Up Busy Friday in California

Bryan Clay Invitational Results
AZUSA, Calif. – Brendan Skime and Grady Anderson each set personal records in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to help close out a busy day of competition for the North Dakota State men's track and field team Friday, April 18, at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Skime placed fourth with a time of 9 minutes, 25.73 seconds that ranks fifth in The Summit League. Anderson trimmed more than 20 seconds of his previous season-low and placed fifth with a time of 9:30.64.
North Dakota State got a PR from Nate Mattson in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.77 seconds that ranks third in The Summit League.
Mattson also competed in the 100-meter dash (11.12) and ran the second leg of NDSU's fourth-place 400-meter relay team with Donte Smart, Colin Paarmann and Loren Bothun, which clocked in at 42.34.
Jonah Warwick ran a PR time of 49.38 in the 400 meters to lead a group of four Bison in that event. Warwick's time ranks sixth in the league.
NDSU's Josh Eiler was the fifth-place finisher in the discus throw with a mark of 153 feet, 11 inches.
At the Mt. SAC Relays in nearby Walnut, Calif., the Bison got a season-best time of 52.97 seconds from Jerome Begin in the 400-meter hurdles which ranks second in The Summit League.
Quinn Baumann was NDSU's top finisher at the Mt. SAC Relays with a ninth-place effort in the javelin throw at 207 feet even.
NDSU continues competition Saturday, April 19, at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut and the Beach Invitational hosted by Long Beach State in Norwalk, Calif.
