The North Dakota State track & field teams will host the Team Nodak Decathlon/Heptathlon on Friday, Apr. 11, and Saturday, Apr. 12, this weekend, as well as the Lyle Hokanson Classic on Saturday, Apr. 12, at Schlanser Track and the Ellig Sports Complex on the NDSU campus.
The multi-events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Friday with the heptathlon 100m hurdles. The decathlon 100m dash will start at 1:30 p.m. The hammer throw portion of the Lyle Hokanson Classic will also be held on Friday, beginning with the women at 2 p.m.
Saturday's action begins with the decathlon 110m hurdles at 10 a.m. and the heptathlon long jump at 10:30 a.m. The Lyle Hokanson Classic field events begin with the men's javelin at noon, and the running events start at 2:25 p.m.
This will be the first of three outdoor meets hosted by NDSU this season. The Bison are also scheduled to host the NDSU Tune-Up Meet on May 9 and the Summit League Outdoor Championships on May 15-17.
