Deborah John Claims Trinidad & Tobago National Title in 100m Hurdles

Former North Dakota State hurdler Deborah John won a national title in the 100m hurdles on Saturday, June 21, at the Trinidad & Tobago National Track & Field Championships held in Port-of-Spain.
John claimed her nation's top spot with a time of 13.36 seconds – the third-fastest time of her decorated career. John, who concluded her collegiate career with NDSU earlier this month, took runner-up honors in the 100m hurdles at the Trinidad & Tobago Championships last summer.
John placed 15th in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 12 to earn second team All-American honors. She holds NDSU school records in the 60m hurdles (8.23), 100m hurdles (13.24) and 4x100m relay. John owns the eight fastest 100m hurdles performances in NDSU history.
