Bison Men Open Competition at Jack Johnson Classic

MINNEAPOLIS – The North Dakota State men's track & field team began competition at Minnesota's Jack Johnson Classic on Friday afternoon and evening.
Senior Beau Gagnon cleared 13-08.25 (4.17m) to place fourth in the unseeded section of the men's pole vault. Freshman Daniel Asa tied for seventh with a height of 12-02.50 (3.72m).
Bison junior Colin Paarmann took ninth in the long jump with a mark of 21-10.75 (6.67m). He was ranked second in The Summit League in the event entering the weekend.
Redshirt freshman Aron Klos was the top NDSU finisher in the 200m dash, finishing in 22.87 seconds for 16th place.
The majority of events will be contested tomorrow inside the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse.
