ROCHESTER, Minn. – North Dakota State University left-handed pitcher Blake Stockert was named a Northwoods League All-Star on Friday, July 8. Stockert, who plays for the Wilmar Stingers in the collegiate summer league, will play for the North Division team in the Northwoods League All-Star Game on July 19 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In five starts on the mound for the Stingers this summer, Stockert is 3-1 with a 1.05 ERA. He has struck out 28 batters over 25 2/3 innings while issuing only 13 walks.
