Jochim (Bismarck, N.D.) clocked 47.41 in the 400m to break Bison Athletic Hall of Famer Jason Breitzman's NDSU record of 47.65 established in 1997. Jochim's time ranks 19th in the country this season.

Junior Payton Otterdahl claimed first place in both the weight throw and shot put at SDSU, posting a toss of 66-11.50 (20.41m) in the weight and 56-01.25 (17.10m) in the shot put. Senior Alex Renner registered a lifetime-best in the weight throw, hitting 62-01.00 (18.92m) to rank sixth in NDSU history.
