Bison Track & Field Competes at Nebraska’s Mark Colligan Memorial Saturday

Meet Info
The North Dakota State University men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Lincoln, Neb., to compete in the Mark Colligan Memorial hosted by the University of Nebraska on Saturday.
The Bison will be competing with the host Huskers, along with Texas State and Oral Roberts in the meet.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. inside the Devaney Center with the women's weight throw, women's long jump, and men's pole vault. Running events start at 12:15 p.m. with prelims of the 60m hurdles.
The NDSU men moved up to No. 20 in the USTFCCCA national rankings this week, while the Bison women climbed three spots to No. 38.
NDSU has five performances that rank among the top 10 in the nation this season, led by senior thrower Payton Otterdahl who tops the NCAA in both the shot put and weight throw. On the women's side, Bailey Retzlaff ranks fourth nationally in the shot put, Kelby Anderson is fifth in the 3000m, and Maddy Nilles is sixth in the weight throw.
The Bison have a total of 13 marks in the top 30 of the national lists this year, including sophomore Alex Talley who is 13th in the men's weight throw and 24th in the shot put.
