Indoor (Junior): Summit League champion in the weight throw … Placed 3rd at the Summit League Championships in the shot put … Broke the NDSU school record in the weight throw, setting the new mark at 68-09.75 (20.97m) at the North Dakota Indoor Tune-Up on Feb. 18 … Ended the year ranked 2nd in NDSU history in the indoor shot put, throwing 60-03.75 (18.38m) at the Iowa State Classic … Ended the indoor season ranked 24th in the NCAA in the weight throw and 34th in the shot put … Also extended the Shelly Ellig Indoor Facility record and the Dakota Classic meet record in the weight throw … Won the weight throw at seven meets.
Outdoor (Redshirt): Competed unattached as a redshirt … Extended his personal-bests to 61-01.25 (18.62m) in the shot put and 182-2 (55.53m) in the discus … Would have improved his school record in the discus by more than two feet and ranked 3rd in NDSU outdoor history in the shot put had he not been redshirting.
