Outdoor (Sophomore): NCAA West Preliminary Rounds qualifier in the hammer throw … Placed 5th in the hammer throw at the Summit League Championships with a mark of 196-1 (59.78m) … Personal-best throw of 205-10 (62.75m) in the hammer at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on Apr. 18 … Ended the season ranked 8th all-time at NDSU in the hammer.

Prior to NDSU: Won the Great Northwest Athletic Conference title in the hammer throw as a freshman in 2018, qualifying for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships ... Threw a season-best 202-2 (61.62m) in the hammer as a freshman, which would rank 7th all-time at NDSU.
 
High School: As a senior in high school, Slate claimed the USATF Arizona state championship and the USATF Region 10 Junior Olympic title in the hammer throw ...
