Indoor (Sophomore): Scored a personal-best 4,554 points in the heptathlon for 10th place at the Bison Open on Feb. 7-8 … Season-best pole vault mark of 14-07.25 (4.45m) at the Bison Team Cup on Jan. 18 … Season-best 60m hurdles time of 8.78 seconds in the pentathlon at the Dakota Classic on Dec. 6.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2018-19 SEASON
 
Indoor (Freshman): Placed 7th in the heptathlon at the Summit League Championships, scoring a season-best 4,529 points … Cleared a pole vault season-best of 14-11.00 (4.55m) at the UND Indoor Tune-Up on Feb. 16 … Season-best 60m hurdles time of 8.91 seconds in the heptathlon at the conference meet.
Outdoor (Freshman): Scored 5,639 points in the Drake Relays decathlon on Apr. 24-25 for 8th place … Pole vault season-best of 14-05.25 (4.40m).  

2017-18 SEASON

High School: Placed 6th at the Minnesota Class A state meet in the pole vault as a senior in 2017 ... Took 8th in the pole vault at the state meet as a junior ... Four-time state meet qualifier in the pole vault ... High school personal-bests of 14-0 in the pole vault and 5-11 in the high jump ... All-conference football player for Stephen-Argyle Central HS ... Also a 1,000-point scorer in basketball.

Personal: Son of Steven and Melanie McGlynn ... Has two brothers, Zachary and William, and one sister, Abigail ... Mother, Melanie (Peterson) McGlynn, competed for NDSU track & field from 1992-94 ... Nephew of Ryan McGlynn, former NCAA pole vault champion and school record holder at NDSU (1992-96) ... Majoring in agribusiness.
