NDSU Women’s Soccer Adds 10 Incoming Student-Athletes on National Signing Day

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State University head women's soccer coach Mike Regan announced Wednesday, Nov. 13, 10 student-athletes will join the Bison soccer program beginning in the fall of 2020.

Jessica Hanley, a defender/midfielder from Plymouth, Minn.; Kaitlyn Hanson, a defender/midfielder from Lakeville, Minn.; Ashleigh Heely, a midfielder from Torrance, Calif.; Kelsey Kallio, a forward/defender/midfielder from Lino Lakes, Minn.; Reagan Klose, a forward/defender/midfielder from Bartlesville, Okla.; Olivia Lovick, a forward/midfielder from Lino Lakes, Minn.; Alicia Nead, a midfielder from Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Aliya Owens, a midfielder from Omaha, Neb.; Katrina Patscot, a defender/midfielder from Wales, Wis. and Abby Wilkinson, a goalkeeper from Littleton, Colo. will all play soccer and continue their education at NDSU.

"We are excited to welcome these 10 new players to our Bison women's soccer family," Regan said. "With nine freshman this past season, and these 10 new players joining the team for next year, we will be a very young, but exciting team to watch. We're ready to continue this journey of Summit League play with our new additions to the team."

 

Jessica Hanley
D/MF | Plymouth, Minn. (Robbinsdale Armstrong HS)
High School:
Four-year starter and letterwinner…Named captain as a junior and senior…Scored 12 goals as a senior, tallying 27 goals and 10 assists for her career…Earned all-conference honors as a freshman and junior, while picking up honorable mention honors as a sophomore…Also played basketball in high school…Club: Team finished third at the ECNL Champions League Championship in 2018… Personal: Daughter of Casandra Davids and Paul Hanley…

Kaitlyn Hanson
D/MF | Lakeville, Minn. (Lakeville South HS)
High School:
Four-year starter and letterwinner…Named first team all-state as a senior, while picking up all-conference honors as a junior and senior…Finalist of Ms. Soccer Award, while being named a finalist for the East Metro Player of the Year award…Was named team defensive MVP and selected to the all-state tournament team…Anchored a defense that allowed five goals throughout the season and .3 goals against for the year…Defense posted 13 shutouts and allowed just 33 shots…Recorded two goals and three assists on the year…During her career, was a part of defenses that posted 43 shutouts…Recorded 12 goals and 20 assists during career…Team won Section 1 title as a senior, while tallying a 48-14-8 record over four years…Club: Played for Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL…Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Adam Hanson…Grandpa played football at Minnesota…

Kelsey Kallio
