Weather Forces Changes to Bison Baseball Schedule

FARGO, N.D. - With snow still covering Newman Outdoor Field, changes have been made to the upcoming North Dakota State baseball schedule.
The home opener, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been moved. NDSU will still play Purdue Fort Wayne this weekend, but the games will now be played in Fort Wayne, Ind. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Friday, April 5, starting at 11 a.m. (Central) and a single game on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 3 p.m. (Central).
With the games being moved to Fort Wayne for this weekend, the series that was scheduled to be played in Fort Wayne on May 10-12 will now be played in Fargo. An announcement on those start times will be made at a later date.
The Bison are now scheduled to open the home slate on Tuesday, April 16 against Valley City State at 5:30 p.m.
