GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team competed at the UND Indoor Tune-Up Saturday for its final meet before the upcoming Summit League Indoor Championships.

Michaela Baker won the 60m hurdles in a season-best time of 8.51 seconds. She ranks second all-time at NDSU in the event.

Ansley Schug clocked a personal-best of 8.77 in the 60m hurdles for second place, tying her for ninth-fastest in NDSU history. Freshman
Bailee Dierks ran a personal-best 8.81 for third place, rounding out a 1-2-3 finish for the Bison women.

Katie Heilman claimed the 200m title in a career-best 25.46, and also set a new personal-best in the 60m dash twice, running 7.85 in the prelims and 7.84 in the final for second place.

Blythe Ehrmantraut cleared a personal-best 12-05.50 (3.80m) in the pole vault, tying for ninth-best in NDSU indoor history.

Alaysia Freetly won the mile in a personal-best time of 5:02.95. Junior
Peyton Frolek won the 400m dash, running 58.02 for the second-fastest indoor time of her career.

Maggie Schwarzkopf won the shot put with a throw of 49-02.50 (15.00m). Bison freshman Rebecca Tomann finished fourth in the weight throw, throwing 54-05.50 (16.60m).

The Bison will compete at the Summit League Indoor Championships in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Feb. 28-29.
