BROOKINGS, S.D. – North Dakota State senior hurdler
Ansley Schug continued her breakthrough season, recording two more event titles and registering personal-bests in both, to highlight the efforts of the Bison women's track & field team on Saturday at the Jim Emmerich Invitational.

Schug won both the 60m hurdles and 200m dash for the second straight meet. The Woodbury, Minn., native clocked two more personal-bests in the 60m hurdles, running 8.67 in the prelims and 8.66 to win the final. Schug now ranks fifth in NDSU history. She ran a personal-best 25.70 for first place in the 200m.

The Bison women swept the top three places in the shot put, with
Akealy Moton (56-6 / 17.22m) winning,
Tasha Willing taking second, and
Amanda Anderson in third.

In the weight throw, Willing now ranks 10th all-time at NDSU after posting a mark of 62-06.00 (19.05m) on Saturday.

Bison sophomore
Katie Berglund cleared a personal-best 12-05.50 (3.80m) in the pole vault, tying for ninth-best in NDSU indoor history.

Freshman
Brita Birkeland won the 600m, running a season-best 1:36.94.
Alliana Houfek claimed the mile title, finishing in a personal-best time of 5:09.57.

Jenna Kes won the triple jump with a mark of 37-03.00 (11.35m).

Peyton Frolek turned in an impressive time of 2:11.37 for runner-up honors in the 800m. Senior
Melina Kuerschner clocked a 3000m career-best of 9:56.61 to take third place in the meet.
