ST. LOUIS - North Dakota State right tackle Cordell Volson was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week by the league office Monday, Oct. 18. It is his second award of the season.

Volson, a senior from Balfour, N.D., graded out at 92 percent with five "plus physical" plays and zero quarterback hurries, sacks or tackles for loss allowed in North Dakota State's 20-0 victory over Illinois State.

The Bison rushed for 201 yards, converted 9 of 16 third downs and held the ball for more than 37 minutes in picking up their third road win of the season.

No. 3-ranked North Dakota State (6-0, 3-0 MVFC) is scheduled to host 17th-ranked Missouri State (4-2, 3-1 MVFC) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
