Eight From NDSU on HERO Sports FCS All-America Teams

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State had eight players on the HERO Sports FCS All-America Teams announced Tuesday, Dec. 14.
NDSU fullback Hunter Luepke, wide receiver Christian Watson, right tackle Cordell Volson and strong safety Michael Tutsie were named to the All-America first team. Volson is just the fourth player in Bison history to earn All-America honors in three different seasons. Tutsie earned his first All-America honor.
Bison tight end Noah Gindorff, left tackle Cody Mauch and defensive end Brayden Thomas were named to the All-America third team. All three are making their first appearance on an FCS All-America team.
Defensive tackle Eli Mostaert was named to the Sophomore All-America Team. He was a Freshman All-American in 2020-21 and is the sixth Bison player to be honored among the nation's best second-year players.
No. 2 seed North Dakota State (12-1) is scheduled to host third-seeded James Madison (12-1) in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Football Championship at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome. Tickets are available at GoBison.com/tickets.
