Hostetler Named Summit League Baseball Player of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - For the second time this season, and third time in his career, North Dakota State senior Bennett Hostetler has been named the Summit League Baseball Player of the Week.

Hostetler went 7-for-11 with four RBI and six stolen bases in the three victories over Dayton last week. The senior had multiple hits in each of those wins, including a 3-for-3 effort in game two when he also stole four bases. In Sunday's victory, he went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI.

NDSU has won the player of the week award three of the four weeks this season, as senior Jake Malec won it last week.

The Bison return to action on Tuesday, March 16, with the final game of a four-game series with Dayton. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. (Central).
