ELKHORN, Neb. – The North Dakota State women's golf team finished sixth at the Stampede at the Creek at Indian Creek Golf Course Tuesday.

NDSU shot a 319 in the final round, finishing with a three-round total of 986. South Dakota State swept the team and individual titles, shooting an 898, accompanied by Teresa Toscano finishing first with a 225.

Junior
Taylor McCorkle and sophomore
Maddie Herzog both finished tied for 18
th with a 244. McCorkle shot a 79 in the final round while Herzog recorded a birdie to a third round score of 77. Senior
Alexis Thomas finished in a tie for 26
th after shooting an 81 in the final round, bringing her three-round total to 249. Thomas had a birdie in the final round.

Freshman
Leah Skaar shot an 85 in the final round, as she finished in a tie for 34
th with a 255. Skaar's second round 83 was the lowest of her career. Junior
Lexi Geolat finished in a tie for 37
th with a 257. Geolat shot an 82 in the final round and recorded a birdie. Freshman
Catherine Monty finished with a 258, as she finished in a tie for 41
st.

Holly Murphy, who competed as an individual, finished in 49
th with a 263. Murphy shot an 86 in the final round.
