The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams will compete at the Jim Emmerich Invitational hosted by South Dakota State in Brookings, S.D., this Saturday, Jan. 22.

The meet is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. inside the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. Live video streams will be available on GoJacks.com.

Entering this third meet of the 2022 indoor season, the Bison men and women have already achieved eight performances that rank in the NCAA's top 40 this season. Trevor Otterdahl ranks fifth nationally in the weight throw, and Kristoffer Thomsen is No. 8 in the shot put. Amy Herrington is the top-ranked Bison woman at 18th on the NCAA list for the weight throw.

Both the Bison men and women were voted the preseason favorite to defend their Summit League indoor titles in 2022. The Summit League Indoor Championships will be held Feb. 25-26 in Grand Forks, N.D.
