BROOKINGS, S.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team won five events to highlight the performances of the Bison on Saturday at SDSU's Jim Emmerich Invitational.

NDSU sophomore
Nell Graham won the 400m dash in 56.38, and Bison freshman
Angel Pratt took second in 57.20.

Alissa Melvin took the triple jump title with a mark of 38-02.25 (11.64m), approaching her indoor personal-best.

Senior thrower
Amanda Anderson won the shot put, throwing 50-02.75 (15.31m) – a new indoor personal-best that ranks her 11th in NDSU history.

Senior Amy (Herrington) Phillips was the top collegiate finisher in the weight throw at 68-8 (20.93m).

Making her collegiate debut in the 800m, Bison freshman
Kaci Cooper won the event in 2:15.31.

The Bison women finished 2-4-5 in the long jump, led by
Daejha Moss at 18-07.25 (5.67m).
Grace Emineth was fourth at 18-04.25 (5.59m), and
Makenna Vollmer took fifth at 17-08.75 (5.40m).

Daejha Moss was also the runner-up in the high jump, clearing 5-07.00 (1.70m).

Kaleesa Houston posted the second-fastest 3000m time of her career, taking second place in 9:58.20.

Salmata Korgho ran 8.78 in the prelims of the 60m hurdles and placed fourth in the final. Sophomore
Bonet Henderson clocked 7.79 to place fifth in the 60m dash.
