NDSU Men Ready to Contend for Another Summit League Indoor Title

The North Dakota State men's track & field team has claimed five of the last six Summit League indoor team titles, and the Bison will attempt to extend that run at the Summit League Indoor Championships this Friday, Feb. 25, and Saturday, Feb. 26, in Grand Forks.
The NDSU men have captured nine indoor team championships in 14 years of league membership.
The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT on both days with the multi-events. Field events will start at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday. Running events will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
NDSU enters the meet with league leaders in five events – Josh Darwin (high jump), Brandon Lewis (long jump), Kristoffer Thomsen (shot put), Trevor Otterdahl (weight throw), and the 4x400m relay.
In the shot put, NDSU holds the top four spots on the conference rankings, and the Bison boast five of the league's top eight performers in the 400m dash this season.
