RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team put three Bison in the top seven of the discus at the Raleigh Relays on Friday afternoon.

Kristoffer Thomsen threw a new discus personal-best of 172-7 (52.61m), placing fifth in the meet and moving up to sixth-best in NDSU history.

Kaden Pastian (Hillsboro, N.D.) ranks 10th in NDSU history for the discus after placing sixth in his collegiate debut Friday, throwing 170-2 (51.87m). Bison senior
Trevor Otterdahl took seventh at 166-0 (50.60m).

At the Yellow Jacket Spring Open in Spearfish, S.D.,
Koate Deebom is the top Bison in the decathlon standings through five events with 3,094 points for fifth place. NDSU freshman
Zach McGlynn is in sixth with 3,048.

The Bison will conclude competition Saturday at both meets.
