FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State had three players named to the
Athlon Sports FCS Preseason All-America Team announced Monday, June 13. The team is compiled by Stats Perform FCS senior editor Craig Haley.
NDSU fullback
Hunter Luepke, offensive tackle
Cody Mauch and safety
Michael Tutsie were named to the team, which includes 27 players from 19 schools and nine conferences in the Football Championship Subdivision.
All three Bison players last season were named to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team and earned FCS All-America honors. Luepke was the Most Outstanding Player of last year's NCAA championship game.
North Dakota State is scheduled to open the 2022 season hosting Drake at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
