SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State baseball team led the Summit League with four selections on the 2022 All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Brock Anderson, Peter Brookshaw, Cade Feeney and Tristen Roehrich all earned a spot on the All-Academic Team for the first time in their careers.

Anderson boasts a 3.75 GPA in business and was named to the All-Summit League Second team earlier this season. He played in 46 games and registered .256 batting average with a career-high 46 hits and 29 RBI. Anderson also notched .997 fielding percentage, which ranked seventh on the NDSU single-season list.

Brookshaw holds a 3.44 GPA in business and also earned a spot on the All-Summit League Second Team earlier this year. He started all 46 games he appeared in and led the Bison in RBI (46) and runs (36). The Prescott, Wis., native posted a team-high 18 multiple hit games to go along with 15 multiple RBI games.

Feeney boasts a 3.66 GPA in business and started 14 games on the mound for the Bison. He tossed a career-high and team-best 62 strikeouts over 79.1 innings. The Bismarck, N.D., native posted a 7-3 overall record and tallied nine games with five or more strikeouts.

Roehrich rounds out the group with a 3.80 GPA in business. He made 15 appearances on the mound this season with a 5-2 overall record. The West Fargo, N.D., native contributed a career-high six saves and tossed a career-best 53 strikeouts over 47.1 innings.

To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions, except pitchers who must have participated in 20 percent of their team's total contests.

Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's participating members, and voting is conducted by both SIDs and FARs. The teams are made up of ten student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
