Williams Signs with Ogden Raptors in Pioneer Baseball League

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State catcher Logan Williams has signed with the Ogden Raptors in the Pioneer Baseball League.

Williams appeared in 43 games with 41 starts last season with a .294 batting average. The Kailua, Hawaii native connected on a team-high 12 home runs, which ranked tied for seventh on the NDSU single-season list. Williams, who was named to the All-Summit League First Team, totaled 47 hits and ranked second on the team in RBI with 41.

Prior to his only season at NDSU, Williams spent two seasons at Kansas where he appeared in 31 games. He also spent the first two seasons of his career at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz.

Since 1939, the Pioneer Baseball League has operated in the Mountain States region as an MLB affiliated league. Beginning in 2021, the PBL became an MLB Partner League with teams in Montana (Billings, Missoula and Great Falls), Idaho (Boise and Idaho Falls), Utah (Ogden) and Colorado (Grand Junction and Colorado Springs). The Northern Colorado Owlz (Windsor, CO), formerly the Orem Owlz, and the Glacier Range Riders (Flathead County, MT) also joined the league for the 2022 season.
