NDSU Track & Field Hosts 5th Annual Bison Team Cup this Saturday

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University track & field teams will host the Bison Team Cup this Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.

NDSU will welcome South Dakota State and North Dakota to Fargo for a scored team meet. The winning men's and women's teams will earn the Bison Team Cup trophies, which the NDSU men and women have swept at each of the previous four Bison Team Cup meets.

Field events begin at 1 p.m. Saturday with the women's high jump, women's pole vault, and men's weight throw. Men's and women's long jump will start at 2 p.m., and running events are scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. on the track.

The NDSU women have won 14 of the past 15 Summit League indoor titles, while the NDSU men have won nine indoor championships in 15 years.
