FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams are hosting the Bison Open this Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.

Friday's competition begins with the women's pentathlon at 11 a.m. and the men's heptathlon at 12:30 p.m. The weight throw is scheduled for Friday, with the men starting at 3 p.m. and the women to follow, as well as the women's pole vault at 4 p.m. Friday's running events get underway at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the heptathlon resumes at 11 a.m. Field events begin with the long jump and shot put at 1 p.m., and track events start at 1:30 p.m.

Three NDSU men currently lead The Summit League in their events –
Jacob Rodin (800m),
Cam Landis (shot put), and
Kaden Pastian (weight throw).

Early-season Summit League leaders for the Bison women include Kendra Kelley (200m), Sydney Arndt (60m hurdles), Grace Emineth (long jump), and Alissa Melvin (triple jump).
