NDSU Women Going for 15th Summit League Indoor Title this Weekend

The North Dakota State University women's track & field team will attempt to win its league-record 15th team title at the Summit League Indoor Championships this Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26, in Vermillion, S.D.
The Bison women have claimed 14 indoor team titles in 15 years since joining The Summit League in 2008. Combined with 13 outdoor team titles, the NDSU women have won 27 out of 29 team conference championships in the past 15 years.
NDSU finished second behind South Dakota at last year's Summit League Indoor Championships.
The Bison are poised to score well in the triple jump, long jump and 60m hurdles this season. NDSU has the top five performers in the league this season for the triple jump, as well as four of the top six athletes in the long jump and 60m hurdles.
The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT on both days with the multi-events. Field events will start at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Running events will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
