SEDONA, Ariz. –
Elise Hoven carded a 74 in the final round of play as the North Dakota State women's golf team finished in 18th place at the Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club on Sunday afternoon.
NDSU assembled rounds of 304, 314 and 310 for a three-round total of 928 to finish in 18th place in the 20-team tournament. Navy took the top spot with scores of 293, 298 and 289 for a three-round total of 880.
Hoven led the way for the Bison carding rounds of 77, 78 and 74 for a three-round score of 229 to finish tied for 50th place. She notched three birdies in the final round to finish +2 on the par 72 course.
Catherine Monty (76-75-78--229) also finished tied for 50th place, while
Madi Hicks (75-79-78--232) came in tied for 58th place.
Leah Skaar (76-87-80--243) finished tied for 95th place and
Jo Baranczyk (82-82-84--248) rounded out the group in 99th place.
NDSU will be back in action at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate in Pawleys Island, S.C., on Monday, March 27.
