Bison Track & Field Competes at Drake Relays, Kip Janvrin Open this Week

Drake Relays
Kip Janvrin Open
The North Dakota State University track & field teams will compete at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, and the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa, this Thursday through Saturday, April 27-29.
Track events start late in the afternoon on Thursday at the Drake Relays with several mid-distance and distance races. The full schedule of events at Drake gets underway on Friday and Saturday.
A portion of the Bison roster will also be competing at the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College in Indianola on Thursday and Friday.
In 2021, the NDSU women captured the Drake Relays Cup, which is awarded annually to the school with the highest point total across the 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m, sprint medley, and distance medley relays.
The Bison men won the university division 4x400m relay crown at the Drake Relays last season, running 3:09.90.
