NDSU Track & Field to Host Bison Open this Friday & Saturday

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's and men's track & field teams will host the Bison Open this Friday, Feb. 2, and Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.
Friday's competition begins with the women's pentathlon at 12 p.m. and the men's heptathlon at 1:30 p.m. The weight throw is scheduled for Friday, with the men starting at 3 p.m. and the women to follow, as well as the women's pole vault at 4 p.m. Friday's running events get underway at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the heptathlon resumes at 11 a.m. Field events begin with the long jump at 1 p.m., and track events start at 1:30 p.m.
Early-season Summit League leaders for the Bison women include Kendra Kelley (200m), Nell Graham (400m & pentathlon), Brita Birkeland (800m), Sydney Arndt and Salmata Korgho (60m hurdles tie), and Grace Emineth (triple jump).
The NDSU men currently lead The Summit League in six events – Cullen Curl (400m), Blake Nyenati (60m hurdles), Zach McGlynn (high jump), Kaden Pastian (shot put & weight throw), and the 4x400m relay.
