NDSU Track & Field Hosts Dakota Alumni Classic Friday for Home Opener

The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams will host the Dakota Alumni Classic this Friday, Dec. 13, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.
Multi-events competition will begin with the women's pentathlon 60m hurdles at 11:30 a.m. and the men's heptathlon at 12:15 p.m. Field events start with the men's weight throw at noon and the women's pole vault at 4 p.m. Running events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday on the track and are expected to conclude by 8 p.m.
The men's heptathlon competition will conclude on Saturday, resuming at 10 a.m. that day.
The Bison women have captured 15 indoor team titles in 17 seasons since joining The Summit League in 2008. The NDSU men have won nine indoor Summit League team titles.
