AUSTIN, Texas – North Dakota State sophomore
Jarod White broke the NDSU school record for the outdoor pole vault at the Texas Relays on Thursday, headlining the day's performances for the Bison men's track & field team.

White cleared 17-04.50 (5.30m) in the pole vault for fifth place in the highly competitive meet, surpassing the mark of 17-02.75 (5.25m) he achieved two weeks ago to tie Ryan McGlynn's previous NDSU outdoor record from 1995.

White also broke McGlynn's indoor school record in February of this season.

Bison senior
Khamarly Holmes ran 53.04 in the 400m hurdles at the Texas Relays, and redshirt freshman
Carter Elde clocked 54.02 for an impressive performance in his 400m hurdles debut.

At the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State, NDSU freshman Peter Dryburgh threw a personal-best 185-9 (56.62m) in the javelin, and freshman
Logan Arason won a separate section of the javelin with a throw of 178-1 (54.29m).
Cam Landis posted the second-best discus mark of his career, throwing 167-11 (51.18m).

Jacob Van Dusseldorp cleared 15-11.75 (4.87m) in the pole vault at the Bobcat Invitational.

Competition will continue Friday at both meets, with the NDSU jumpers and distance runners joining the action in California at the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
