Bison Hosting NDSU Tune-Up Meet Thursday & Friday

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University track & field teams will host the NDSU Tune-Up this Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex on campus.
The meet will be NDSU's final competition before traveling to St. Paul, Minn., for the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 9-11.
Thursday will feature the hammer throw and javelin competitions, with men starting the hammer throw and the women opening the javelin – both at 1:30 p.m.
Friday's action starts with field events at 1 p.m., and running events will begin with the 3000m steeplechase at 1:30 p.m. NDSU will honor its senior class with a recognition ceremony at approximately 4:30 p.m. between the 200m dash and 5,000m run.
On Friday, the first 200 fans will receive a free NDSU stadium cup.
The Bison men and women have both won 14 Summit League outdoor team titles in 15 seasons since joining the league in 2008.
