NDSU Women Aim to Defend Summit League Outdoor Title this Week in St. Paul

The North Dakota State University women's track & field team will attempt to win its 15th outdoor conference title this week, competing at the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., on May 9-11.
After joining The Summit League prior to the 2008 season, NDSU won 14 outdoor track & field team championships in 15 tries, including last May on its home track in Fargo.
Combined with 15 indoor team titles, the Bison women have won 29 out of 32 team conference championships in the past 16 years.
Based on the league performance lists entering the meet, the 800m, 200m, 100m hurdles, and triple jump project to be some of the highest-scoring events for the Bison women.
