
NDSU Track & Field to Host Bison Open Friday & Saturday

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's and women's track & field teams will host the Bison Open this Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.
Friday's competition begins with the men's heptathlon at 11:30 a.m. and the women's pentathlon at 12 p.m. The weight throw is scheduled for Friday, with the men starting at Noon and the women to follow, as well as the women's pole vault at 2:30 p.m. Friday's running events get underway at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the heptathlon resumes at 11 a.m. Field events begin with the long jump, high jump and shot put at 2 p.m., and track events start at 2:30 p.m.
The schedule of events is subject to change and will be finalized following the entry process for the meet.
The NDSU women currently lead The Summit League in seven events, with Anika Larson (60m & 200m), Reese Rogowski (400m), Jordyn Davis (60m hurdles), Grace VanErp (triple jump), Adison Kapitzke (shot put), and the 4x400m relay.
Early-season Summit League leaders for the Bison men include Kaleb Foltz (800m), Carter Reckelberg (long jump), Reece Grosserode (triple jump), and Zach McGlynn (heptathlon).
