Fargo, ND --- North Dakota State baseball has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 season. Bison fans will want to mark their calendars so they don't miss any of the new, or returning, fan favorite fun at Newman Outdoor Field this year.
 
March 27-29 – During the Home Opener against Oral Roberts, the new 2026 baseball schedule posters will be revealed and given away to all fans as we welcome the Bison back to Fargo for the first of five scheduled home series this season. Back by popular demand: NDSU embroidered mink sherpa blankets! A ballpark necessity for those early Fargo Spring days. Ten total blankets will be raffled off during the opening series, with five blankets being given away at Saturday's game, and the remaining five being handed out during Sunday's game. The March 28 game will also be Youth Baseball Day, with those ages 17 and under getting into the ballpark for $3.
 
April 2-4 – Don't fret! If you miss out on the blankets during opening weekend, we'll be giving away an additional 15 blankets during our Easter weekend series against St. Thomas. Five blankets will be raffled off at each of the three games.
 
April 17-19 – New this year is our poster collection series. It features a series of 4 unique classic movie posters with a Bison Baseball twist given to them. Featured in the poster series will be Back to the Future, Sandlot, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars, with the first three posters being given away at each of the games against Omaha, respectively. The Saturday game of this series will feature an autograph session with the team after the conclusion of the game.
 
May 1-3 – Friday Night Lights is for the NDSU students. The game on Friday, May 1 against South Dakota State will see a PS5, Flatscreen TV, and a $250 Scheels gift card raffled off to three NDSU students. That night will also feature yard games and free drinks (non-alcoholic) for NDSU students on the party deck down the left field line courtesy of Residence Life and Campus Attractions. However, the best part about that night – it's BOGO hotdog night. Sunday's game will see the Star Wars poster giveaway and the last of our two post-game autograph sessions with the team.
 
May 8-10 – Our final home series of the year will start with a bang, literally, as we are putting on a fireworks show presented by STARR at Newman Outdoor Field following the conclusion of Friday night's game. All three days will see an ice cream and Bison mini helmet giveaway, with the final game of the Northern Colorado series on Mother's Day Sunday being used to recognize our seniors with a pregame ceremony.
 
Baseball Experiences – New this season are our baseball experiences. These give you the opportunity to purchase in-game experiences that take Bison baseball game days to a whole other level. Bison Baseball Bingo – Every Sunday game the Bison play will feature Bison Baseball Bingo, where you can win prizes based off what happens during the game. All you'll need to do is grab a bingo card at the marketing table as you enter the ballpark, fill it out during the game with actions that take place on the field, and return it to the marketing table once you have a Bingo to claim the prize you want. It's the same rules as regular bingo, just with a fun, baseball twist!
 
$5 Meal Deal – Every NDSU Bison Baseball game at Newman Outdoor Field this season will feature a $5 meal deal that includes a hotdog, chips, and a drink.
 
Song of the Game – Back this year is our song of the game. Head to @ndsubaseball on X at the start of every Bison home game to choose which song you want to hear at the ballpark during the sixth inning of that day's game.
 
Other promotions that will be happening at the ballpark will be communicated as the season progresses. Promotional dates may shift due to schedule changes from inclement weather conditions.
