NDSU Men’s Golf Earns Three All-Summit League Honors

MESA, Ariz. – Rylin Petry was named to the All-Summit League First Team on Friday to lead three honors on the All-Summit League team selections for the North Dakota State men's golf team, the league office announced on Friday morning ahead of the 2026 Summit League Championship.
Petry was named to the All-Summit League First Team for the second consecutive year, with Jake Skarperud being selected to the All-Summit League Second Team and Carter White receiving Summit League All-Freshman Team honors.
Petry led the Bison with an even 72.00 scoring average in 32 rounds during the regular season. He recorded a second straight year with five top 10 finishes, along with his first collegiate victory at The Metropolis Intercollegiate on Sept. 9. The senior led NDSU with a .758 win percentage throughout the season.
Skarperud received a second team selection for the second time in his four-year career at NDSU. The Fargo, N.D., native led the team with 16 rounds of par or better, including a low round of 67. The senior also earned a career-high four top five finishes, including his second collegiate victory at the NDSU vs. UND dual in October. Skarperud was second for the Bison in scoring average and win percentage, posting an average of 72.31 through 32 rounds and .692 win percentage during the regular season.
White is the first Bison to be named to the All-Freshman team. White holds the second lowest individual 54-hole score of 210 (-6) on the team, along with a pair of low rounds of 67. The Verndale, Minn., native recorded a season-best finish of third at the Bluejay Invitational on Sept. 16, along with a top ten finish at the NDSU vs. UND dual in October. White has entered the starting lineup in nine of his 10 events in the regular season, holding a scoring average of 74.38 through 29 rounds.
The trio of honored Bison and NDSU men's golf will be back in action this weekend when the team competes at the Summit League Championship, beginning with Sunday's first round at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
