2019 SEASON (SENIOR):
Second team All-America selection by HERO Sports...All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team...Made 15 starts at free safety...Missed the road win over Delaware due to injury...Led the Bison with 15 passes defended...Second on the team with five interceptions...NDSU's fifth-leading tackler with 73 total tackles including 39 solo stops...Career-high nine tackles in the 9-3 NCAA quarterfinal win over Illinois State...Career-high four pass breakups in the regular-season win at Illinois State...His 48-yard interception return in the second round of the NCAA playoffs set up a Bison touchdown that extended a four-point lead late in the third quarter...Clinched the NCAA championship victory over James Madison with an interception on the goal line to preserve a 28-20 lead with 8 seconds left...Scored his only career touchdown with a 20-yard run as the holder on a fake field goal earlier in the FCS title game...A former quarterback, he served as the signal-caller on NDSU's point-after-touchdown unit...Converted 2 of 4 rushing conversions and 1 of 2 passing conversions while serving as the holder otherwise...Earned the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award...Repeat selection to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2018 SEASON (JUNIOR): All-Missouri Valley Football Conference second team defensive back...Started all 15 games at free safety...Led the Bison with 14 passes defended including five interceptions...MVFC Defensive Player of the Week after making two picks in the win at Western Illinois...Had two more interceptions in the NCAA playoffs, one for a 28-yard return in the national championship victory against Eastern Washington...Finished fifth on the team with 49 tackles including 33 solo stops...Tied a career-high with five tackles twice against Northern Iowa and Illinois State...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2017 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Filled a variety of roles while playing in all 15 games in his first season on the defensive side of the ball...Made his first career start at strong safety against South Dakota State before moving to the starting will linebacker position the following week against South Dakota...Also maintained his position as the emergency quarterback throughout the year, taking snaps late in the Robert Morris game...Made 36 tackles including 23 solo stops...Intercepted four passes in the first five games of the season...Season-high five tackles in four different games.

2016 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Third-string quarterback behind starter Easton Stick and backup Cole Davis...Saw brief action late in the home win over Indiana State...Also played special teams for the Bison in a second round playoff victory over San Diego...Moved from quarterback to safety for 2017 spring practice.

2015 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter and four-year letterman at Bemidji, where his father was the head football coach and activities director...Passed for 3,735 yards and 36 touchdowns while rushing for 2,273 yards and 25 TDs in his career...Two-time all-conference and three-time all-section performer...Minnesota Vikings all-state selection...Led the Lumberjacks to a pair of nine-win seasons and two section championships...Bemidji advanced to the 2012 Class 5A state semifinals and 2014 state quarterfinals.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2019 with a bachelor's degree in management...Son of Troy and Suzann Hendricks...Youngest of three children...Has a sister, Abby, and a brother, Mitch, who was a three-year starting quarterback at Division III Gustavus Adolphus College...Father was a national scoring and rushing champion, 1985 NSIC co-Offensive Player of the Year, and NAIA All-America running back for Minnesota State Moorhead.
