2020 SEASON (SENIOR): One of six ball carriers for the Bison in the season opener Oct. 3 against Central Arkansas...Had eight carries for three yards...Also caught a pass for one yard.

2019 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made 11 starts at running back and played in all 16 contests, extending his streak to 31 consecutive games played...Honorable mention all-conference...One of four 600-yard rushers on the Bison...Second on the team with 167 carries and 46 rushing first downs...Ranked fourth in the Missouri Valley Football Conference with 12 rushing touchdowns and 13 total TDs...Finished with 813 yards averaging 4.9 yards per carry...Longest rush was a 71-yard touchdown on fourth-and-1 to break a 16-16 tie with 2:32 left in the eventual win at South Dakota State...Notched his first 100-yard game with a career-high 104 yards in the home win over Northern Iowa...Tied a career-high with three receptions at Delaware including a 24-yard touchdown catch.

2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): NDSU's only running back to appear in all 15 games...Rushed 82 times for 563 yards and six touchdowns...Averaged 6.9 yards per carry...Rushed 12 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the win at Missouri State...Season-high 15 carries and 84 yards the following week against Southern Illinois...Longest rush was 59 yards against Delaware.

2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Appeared in the first six games before an injury...Rushed 43 times for 163 yards and one touchdown...Carried 25 times for 89 yards in the home win over Robert Morris...Scored on a season-long 11-yard run at Indiana State.

2016 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter who helped nationally ranked Blue Springs South to a 14-0 record and Class 6 state championship under coach Greg Oder...Ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns in the title game and made a 67-yard touchdown catch...Also had nine tackles and three sacks...2015 all-state first team linebacker and Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association...2015 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Missouri football first team linebacker and Defensive Player of the Year...First team all-conference, all-district and all-metro...Suburban Big 7 Defensive Player of the Year...Finished his senior year with 96 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, nine sacks and 14 quarterback hurries...Four-year letterwinner in track with best times of 11.1 seconds in the 100 meters and 22.7 in the 200 meters...Also played center field for KC Elite showcase baseball.

PERSONAL: Majoring in biological sciences with a minor in psychology...Son of Tim and Hilda Cofield of Lee's Summit, Mo...Youngest of four children...Has two sisters, Ashlie and Amanda, and one brother, Amel...Father played four years in the NFL with the Chiefs, Jets and Bills, and was a three-time CFL All-Star in six years with Calgary, Hamilton, Memphis and Toronto.
