HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter and team captain for coach Brad Meester at Mount Vernon High School...Two-time all-state and all-conference first team...Conference defensive player of the year as a junior...Set the school single-season record for sacks twice at 10.5 and then 12.0 his senior year...Career totals include 82 total tackles, 41.5 tackles for loss and 24.0 sacks...Team went 37-8 during his career...Three-time academic all-state in football and wrestling...Two-time state qualifier in wrestling...Also participated in baseball and track.

PERSONAL: Majoring in business administration...Parents are Mike and Jamie...Father played baseball at Grand View University...Has two brothers, Chris and Cameron, and one sister, Lily.
